We set up String & Can in August 2010 in 3 gorgeous rooms in Midtown NYC, just a block from Penn Station.
Mix 3 got updated last year to Home Theater Dolby Atmos,
however we knew that working remotely offered massive advantages.
Since the CoVid epidemic started 2 1/2 years ago, we’ve further tailored our workflow to
include remote screenings via Zoom or posting QT’s with final mixes to Frame.io or Google Team Drive,
which means we’ve been able to keep all our scheduled commitments without a glitch.
Last November 2021 we were also happy to welcome Randy Matuszewski as the
latest member to our staff after mixing for many years at one of NYC’s biggest Post-Production companies.
Along with winning a News + Documentary Emmy for MILES DAVIS: BIRTH OF THE COOL in October 2021,
we’re mixing more Atmos content for Apple TV+ and Netflix,
we’re busy but we’re always happy to make room for more work !
